Ellen DeGeneres May Return For Finding Nemo Sequel

Ellen DeGeneres is apparently in negotiations to reprise the role of Dory in Pixar's sequel to Finding Nemo.

According to Hollywood Reporter, DeGeneres is keen to return to voice the forgetful blue tang from the 2003 movie, which remains Pixar's second highest-grossing film behind Toy Story 3.

She's stated her desire to see and star in a sequel to Finding Nemo several times over the years on her American talk show. With writer/director Andrew Stanton also set to return, who wrote the role of Dory with DeGeneres in mind, all signs point to her being about to get her wish.

The original Finding Nemo came out in 2003, and went on to win an Academy award for best animated feature, gross $868 million worldwide in the process. This number is likely to grow next month, when the film is due to be re-released in cinemas as Finding Nemo 3D.

Finding Nemo 2 is expected to release in 2016.
