Rob Liefeld, who was the showrunner on Deathstroke, Grifter, and The Savage Hawkman, is leaving DC Comics after the zero issues that are scheduled to hit next month. Liefeld has a history of leaving projects in the lurch, but this time around, he cites the reasons are the same as other creators we've seen leave projects in the past year: editorial interference.

It's unknown if his co-writers on Hawkman and Grifter would be continuing on without him or if they're off the books as well. Either way, this doesn't paint a pretty picture for the internal environment at DC right now.
