If you missed any of the God of War or Infamous games, you'll be happy to know that PlayStation is bringing each franchise to you in collections starting at $29.99. August 28th marks the release of the Ratchet and Clank Collection, and to celebrate, Sony's giving Kratos and Cole the same treatment...at least for North America. No word yet on international releases. What's in the collections? Well...
- God of War
- God of War II
- God of War III
- God of War: Origins Collection (which includes God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta)
- Exclusive Bonus Content
- Voucher For 1 Trial Month of PlayStation Plus
- Infamous
- Infamous 2
- Infamous: Festival of Blood
- Extra missions
- Additional character costumes, power ups and weapon styles
Just what the exclusive content for the collections will be, if "starting at $29.99" means some of the discs won't be $29.99, new Trophies, or which of the "select titles from the Collections" will be available on the PSN wasn't revealed today, but keep it on IGN as those details roll in.
As for the future, the PlayStation Blog hints at "additional news in the coming weeks about which games you can expect to get their own Collections this fall," so keep checking back for additional announcements.
