Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft’s next patch will make all races playable for all players, regardless of which version of the game they’ve purchased. According to a post on battle.net, this will include the new pandaren race, which will be selectable from the moment a player starts World of Warcraft even if they haven’t installed the Mists of Pandaria expansion.
“We want the entire World of Warcraft community to be able to embrace their inner goblin, blood elf, worgen, draenei, or pandaren from the moment they step foot into the world of Azeroth,” Blizzard said.
