The IGN ProLeague, along with developer Nadeo and publisher Ubisoft, is showing ShootMania at PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington this weekend. There were a lot of activities and announcements from the weekend already, but many more are to come!
Nadeo announced that, at ShootMania's launch, two modes of the game will be completely open to the public, free of charge: The free for all mode Royal and their premier competitive mode Elite. That means that anyone, at launch of the game, will be able to participate in the highest level of competition that ShootMania offers.
Also, at PAX, at 1:00 pm Pacific today, the IPL will hold a Best of 7 in Elite mode with $1,000 in cash on the line. The first team qualified for the event through a series of opponents last week in a tournament held online by the IPL, team ESP, featuring Godson, Gillz, and XP3. They'll be squaring off against the professionals from Area 51 gaming. Stop by the ShootMania booth to check out the action!
Tomorrow, the IPL will be holding showmatches in Battle and Heroes alongside the Round of 4 and Finals of the Joes vs Pros Elite tournament that's been running over the weekend. Stop on by any time during the rest of the weekend to get some great ShootMania swag and see the game in action!
