The Behemoth has announced that Castle Crashers will be released on Steam. According to a forum post on the developer’s official site, the Steam version will feature integrated voice chat, Steam achievements, gamepad support and Steam Cloud support, plus local and online multiplayer. The Behemoth posted the following system requirements:
- OS: Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8
- Processor: Dual Core Processor 2GHz+
- Memory: 1GB
- Hard Disk Space: 300MB
- Video Card: Graphics: 256 MB dedicated directx 9.0c compatible card
- Sound: DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card
Castle Crashers was originally released in summer of 2008 on Xbox 360. A PlayStation 3 release followed two years later in August 2010. No release date has been announced for the PC version.
